Google Play is on the the M6 and M6Pro

Yes it is, but there are issues associated with the firmware hack they have instituted. I have owned both the M6 and no M6 Pro and both have issues with software, but sound great!!!

I was curious why they cant find a way to move up to 9/10, ala Hiby and Ibasso. It would help with some of the file system, licensing issues, and battery drain.

What device did you move onto? I always value your reviews and insight.

A big fan of M6 too right here, the sound are exactly what I'm looking for. But I just get them last month & now they are going to launch another TOTL 😂

Looking good, so that stick is to help swapping the socket then. How is heat dissipation ?

Looks like you remove the socket/barrel with the grey metal part (volume knob looking) by hooking under the brass ring.
Looks good, allows for more room for components (eg larger caps) instead of 3 or 4 headphone/line out connectors taking up the room.

Hiby R8 is the best dap i've owned. Ironically though, I'd thought of removing 3 of its output sockets (4.4mm & 3.5mm line outs and the 3.5mm headphone out) to make room to bicap some more elnas or audionote caps in there 😂

Oh!!! I am so sure that once you go down this road (which you did), there are no going back. I am sorry for your pocket, once more

Going from the M6 and M6Pro if this can also upsample to 768khz in Neutron and to those twin AK4499 DACs 😁👍
Now the next thing I want to know is when is it up for sale ? How do I buy it and have it shipped out of China ASAP ?

Will Shanling be enabling the features of NON Over Sampling from AK4499EQ by using their proprietary FPGA ?

Unless @Shanling can tell us different
I would love to be getting one

LOL!!!! I don’t even know if I will dip my toes in onto it. We will see! This interests me because I know Shanling has a pretty good acoustic tuning many years back when I tried them out.
I see that they are improving with the ability to handle 768Khz and allow upscaling by Neutron, together with their own FPGA built by Intel and ak4499eq duals. Nevertheless, very exciting for sure

Also interested to see how heat dissipation are being addressed
