There are still some kinks to be ironed out. Hence, it’s just a beta. But yes, it sounds so much more transparent, open and smooth compared to Tidal.Oh wow, it's absolutely perfect. And no issues at all with track transitions or locked screen etc.
Move over Tidal, I'm really not seeing the point of paying for that in addition to AM which I'm a long term subscriber to anyway.

Tried it and it won't workHas everyone tried just unplugging and re-plugging in your phones? That fixes output weirdness for me most of the time.
and it gives the option to download to the SD card or Internal storage which Tidal doesn't! Lyrics work too. There are still some kinks to be ironed out. Hence, it’s just a beta. But yes, it sounds so much transparent, open and smooth compared to Tidal.
Does anybody have a problem with 24/192 on m8 (Apple music 3.6.0 beta 1108)? For example Hotel California from Eagles?

No issues for me at all with anything, although I’m not sure what you mean by 24/198?Does anybody have a problem with 24/198 on m8 (Apple music 3.6.0 beta 1108)? For example Hotel California from Eagles?
Freezes during playback, and the player does not respond well to touch. It seems as if there is not enough player CPU power to perceive hi-res loseless 24bit / 192khz. At the same time, 24/96 and lower works fine. Please what exact issue are you facing?
Do you have this issue just with Apple music? Or even with local files?Freezes during playback, and the player does not respond well to touch. It seems as if there is not enough player CPU power to perceive hi-res loseless 24bit / 192khz. At the same time, 24/96 and lower works fine.

Never tested it with local files, but my iPhone 11 pro max play this song well. My internet connection is about 1 gigabit fast.Do you have this issue just with Apple music? Or even with local files?

Dammit - I wasn’t at the full hi res so I’ll retry mine. On the regular 24/44.1 lossless it’s working seamlessly.Freezes during playback, and the player does not respond well to touch. Yeah I’m getting the same problem with that track when streaming it. Downloaded version plays just fine. I’d think this is an Apple beta app issue so don’t fret too much.Never tested it with local files, but my iPhone 11 pro max play this song well. My internet connection is about 1 gigabit fast.

In any event, I think we have it much better than the FiiO owners and AK owners who cannot even play Apple Music on their devices.Yeah I’m getting the same problem with that track when streaming it. Definitely - I’ve been downloading a lot already for offline listening. And I’ve already removed the Tidal app as I won’t be needing it.In any event, I think we have it much better than the FiiO owners and AK owners who cannot even play Apple Music on their devices.
Will look more into it, Apple Music is really fresh for now.Yeah I’m getting the same problem with that track when streaming it. Downloaded version plays just fine. I’d think this is an Apple beta app issue so don’t fret too much.
