You need special hardware for this inside device, it's not something that can be added just with firmware update.

Hello, After updating firmware from 4.1 to 4.3 I cannot run tidal. It shows name Tidal with QR code and text "please scan the QR code to you browser...." No log In. Do you know how the downgrade to 4.1 becouse device says It has the latest fimware installed and stops updating or what to do to tidal runs. Thanks Ales

You can scan the QR code with your phone and enter your credentials there. Once that is done it all works fine.

In case you still want to downgrade you should be able to find the old firmware on Shanling’s website. Just download, copy to SD card and select the Update option from system settings on player.

Has anyone noticed a faster battery drain after updating to latest firmware - after I did update the battery drain appears twice as fast as prior to update ?

This is now standard Tidal log-in method, Please follow the instructions on screen.

Please you are experiencing faster battery drain in which cases? While playing music, idle, sleep, turned off?

Hi Battery drain appears to be faster when playing music - indicator goes to under half while playing music after 1.5 hrs - if you leave idle in stand by for a couple of days it’s red - wifi etc off
This only occurred after the firmware upgrade - could leave for several weeks in standby no problem before ?
