Shanling M5

Good question sledgeharvy. I'm burning the L3 in with MEE P1 as we speak. Give me some time, and I'll let you know. Out if the box, I think I prefer the Shanling DAPs -especially the M5.

L3 has a warm/thick sound sig with rolled-of upper end by default. Switching to Rock EQ pushes the mids back and makes it sound a bit leaner. Jazz EQ sounds lean and tight with a lot of upper end definition. I'm bouncing back and forth between Normal and Jazz EQ right now and would honestly like something right in between. Hopefully burnin will help.

There's no way L3 can touch M5 IMHO. Maybe M2. Maybe...

Important notice: Output impedance of M5 is 0.18 ohm

Previously we marked the headphone output impedance of M5 6.2 ohm, which is inaccurate-we use our regular testing standard from the full-size units, which is with a different load.
But we recently found out other brands are using a total different standard of testing-a common standard for DAPs. This is why we are now with a new value and need to revise our specification.

The same to M2 and M3, their output impedance is not as high as the number we provided before.

The Amazon seller is a Chinese Audio company and it ships by DHL. I would rather consider a US Dealer in the event any service is needed.

You could check AVgearshop.com from Canada. Thanks.
