Hi @Shanling
Is there any way to change the order in the favorites list, so that the most recent songs added can be at the top (or bottom)? In the M2s, they were numbered in order, so it was like that. On the M2X it's alphabetical. Any way to change it? Could it possibly be an option in future firmware? Thanks...

If you want them in set order, we recommend to use playlists. We view Favorites as simple random best of mix.

In terms of battery, is there any difference between High gain and Low gain?

Yes, since the output power is quite different.

I just got the M2X, and it sounds great. I like the UI.

Unfortunately, I read this review that says the M2X has replay gain
https://theheadphonelist.com/shanling-m2x-review-the-wonder/

Unless there are plans to implement it soon, I'm likely going to need to return it. For those of us who listen to random lists of songs from files, it's a pretty jarring listening experience when a loudly recorded song kicks in after a softer recorded one.

I'm actually surprised it doesn't include it. I would have thought market data would indicate replay gain is a must-have for many users. For me it is. I wonder how often people choose not to buy a DAP because of the lack of replay gain?

Well, here is sneak peak on next firmware coming for M2X and M5s (sorry for quality). ReplayGain finally coming to MTouch, with Audio track and Album option.
This firmware is now with our testing group, should be released later this week or next week.

I have the m2x and I thought it was supposed to play high resolution FLAC files. I seem to have trouble playing 24/96 files; I get a lot of skipping during the songs. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a remedy for this, other than using files 16/44? Thanks.

Please send us the file you have problem with for testing.

Do you experience this problem on all your hi-res files or only on some?

unfortunately, it's been every hi-res file I've added to the m2x. The files play fine on my laptop, no problems. For most, I've just converted to 16/44 FLAC files and these have played just fine. I'll try to send you a file tomorrow. I was hoping that this might be something the new firmware version might fix....

What card are you using? And wired or Bluetooth headphones?

This definitely isn't some common problem of M2X, it do Hi-res files without problems.

Hmm, that's weird. I have some 24/96 tracks and I have absolutely 0 problems with them. Wired earphones + Sandisk Class 10 MicroSDXC. Idk if it matters but check "high gain" mode if you're listening in the Low gain. Maybe it helps.
