On its own, the M1S is thick yet small. It's certainly light enough for a clip-on type of setup. However, I found it too bulky for a DAP-->DAC setup with my Chord Mojo 2.

Hiby r3pro is the one for mojo.

What about the playback of DSD + .cue files, it's already fixed ? (the player can recognize the .cue file and split the DSD file on to tracks ?)

No update on Tidal.

For cue issue, can't remember right now, did you test it with firmware V2.0?

I'm looking for a small dap to take over the music playing role when I upgrade my phone in the near future and lose the SD card feature. I just tried a Fiio M5 but had a couple of freezes so already sold it on, also I was thinking the profile might be a tad too small, but still haven't ruled out the M0 Pro. I've been spoilt by my flawless Sony Walkman OS and my Samsung S10 w/UAPP so researching the various mini daps and seeing a significant amount of issues with the Hiby R2/R3 versions and some with the M0 Pro I'm a bit reluctant to make a purchase. I haven't read this thread yet but was wondering how the firmware is on the M1s and bluetooth (to TWS) stability? Does anyone own any other mini daps to compare please?

Overall shanling software is pretty great. They quick to release update and responsive when there's bug. Been using my m1s with hiby wu1 and as Bluetooth receiver for my phone with zero problems. Tho range is average.

Alright, but hopefully the software team is working on it. If it was me, I would make "Lyrics mode" to disable the cover art and show the full screen lyrics instead.
By the way, what does the "Lyrics mode" do now? I couldn't tell the difference.
