I'm still getting use my new M1, using it to connect to my Mojo. I've noticed that when there a USB cable in the port, the M1 will automatically restart after being shut down. It doesn't seem to matter whether the other end of the cable is plugged into anything. Are other head-fi'ers experiencing this?

Yes, this is confirmed from several persons myself included.

This is one of the things Shanling need to fix pretty fast.

So, firmware version 1.2...

Hopefully....

Fwiw after also receiving the Hidizs AP60 a few days ago I must say that the M1 still is a much more finished product in comparison.

Hey all,
I'm still trying to find an OTG cable that DOES NOT draw power from the M1 when plugged into my DAC/AMP? Does anyone know of a supplier for this type of cable? A cable that has the power "pin" shorted or disabled? Is there such a thing?

I am using the cable from YourCharger, It does not drain the m1 powers to mojo,

i just purchased an usb c cable from our local store, without even try it because i live in another island. i need that cable to connect shanling and mojo
but sadly the cable didn't work, i already PM the cable makers but no reply so far.
in case the fault is mine, is there any configuraton to connect shanling and mojo? or is there any specific/different scheme for the cable? Please answer if you have some experience

thank you in advance

The cable needs to be USB C OTG to micro USB. I bought both of these and the both work with firmware 1.10 on my M1:

Hi guys, the yourcharger cable works brilliantly!

I just got a mssg from ForzaAudioWorks that their M1-Mojo cable is now up on their site (€60 - looks really nice). Also Mimouille had a spare he was selling too if anyone is interested (looks v.nice too) :headphones::sunglasses:

Glad the cable arrived and works for you!

Sorry for my english, this is my first post. I'm totally newbie on DAP world. I bought it one week ago, and all is fine, but there is a function i can't control. How can I set the DAP to resume last playing song? I put on the menu to start on the last song or in the last point of a song, but when the player shutdown and I turn it on again, I can't resume (no song on playing are listed) and need to start again. Firmware is 1.10. Thanks for all.

Yes, i did it and set both options, location and track, but when the player shutdown and I turn on it again no song are available to continue. I push Now Playing but it takes me to the Open All, My Favourites, etc. menus.
