Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

Hi. I'm new to the forum and new to this hobby! Enjoying it very much!.

I have M0 Pro and tried to use it as DAC connected to my phone. When in USB DAC mode the screen just shows 48Khz/24bits. I'm just wondering if this is correct or should it be highter quality? If I'm not mistaken I'm getting that just from my phone's built-in DAC.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards.

If you have an Android phone by default everything is resampled to 48 khz. You need an audiophile app like Universal Audio Player Pro which has its own USB drivers to work round that.

Thanks for the clarification. I just downloaded UAPP. I'll take a look and see if I can work it out.

Cheers.
So I am able to download Hi-Res samples and play them on UAPP and M0 Pro shows the higher sampling rates. i.e. 192Khz/24bits.

Now, how can I take advantage of Ultra HD or HD streaming from Amazon Music or any of the other Hi-Res streaming sites? I thought playing thru the dac would automatically play those streaming files at their respective sampling rates.

Regards.

I use UAPP to play Qobuz tracks and I think it has integration with other HiRes services like Tidal, but I haven’t heard about Amazon Music working with audiophile apps.

Used the M0 Pro intensively with the Sony WH-1000XM3 on a few subsequent flights and train rides. Didn't have any single issue with the bluetooth connectivity, no stuttering, not even a slight interruption, everything worked fine. Hearing about the connectivity problem issues, my guess is that the M0 Pro somehow prefers some BT chips more, and some less.

So far I’m loving this little DAP and its versatility. Has anyone else noticed an issue when connecting it to a vehicle via USB? I put it in USB Storage mode and it says it’s connected, however the car doesn’t recognize it as a USB data source. Any suggestions?

Any news on a firmware update @Shanling to fix the slight Bluetooth connectivity issues?
Thanks

In works, but no ETA yet.

I have soundpeats Capsule 3 Pro and soundpeats Air3 Deluxe HS with M0 Pro connected with ldac. They work fine indoors however outside it's basically useless with all the dropouts and interference.

Might try to adjust LDAC setting.

Well, in which way does you car USB port works? Does it access any USB drives and shows it content by folders?
Or is it designed for use with Android phones?

Both actually, but I was just trying to use it like I would a usb drive.
You aren't perhaps using an OTG cable? You need a regular USB cable to use M0 as storage.

M0 Pro should work as standard USB drive with most devices (Computers, Android phones, DACs), but car stereos is something we can't test, sorry.

Hi all
My M0 Pro is developing an issue: When playing flac files many times the songs glitches (like pops, like millisecond gaps). It did not do this the first months since had it, always used to play all perfectly.

I have it connected to my Schiit DAC via USB AUDIO.

Any idea what it means? I already bought another usb cable and same

Do you experience these glitches in any other mode? Like with wired headphones, bluetooth? Do you have any other DAC to test?
