Both Son Video and Audiophonics do not stock the balanced adapter. How can we get one @Shanling ?
Easiest would be to ask Audiophonics, they order from us very frequently.

I want to suggest the use case of Shanling M0 Pro for using with portable balanced amplifier. Because of M0 Pro's small size, bi-directional bluetooth make perfect device for attaching to balaced amp. So shanling should release 3.5mm balance male to 4.4mm balance male cable too. Thanks.

Love my M0 Pro as a little balanced source for balanced portable amp device setup. ❤️ Sound clean and analog in Shanling M8 manner. 👍

This is a brilliant idea!

Out of curiosity and apples and oranges, but I see that you also have an R5, I also have a Hiby R5 which I find just dull with little energy in the top end. How does this M0 Pro compare sound wise for easy to drive IEMs?

Wait, I thought the balanced adapter was included with the player?

Only in marketing materials

In real life, it is sold separately, but apparently is not available

Total bumer, if you ask me

Implementation of output circuit and amp ops/lpf shape the sound more than the dac. Although I believe that dac has it's own amplifier built in which is nice on the top end. I'd expect it to have more treble energy than r5. R5 saber was better on the treble output, used different op amps and different tuning.
All units I've tried with the 19 dac and previous 18 dac have had very nice well extended treble. Best thing of course is to try one if you can, but I'd be surprised if it's not more prominent in the treble than vanilla r5.
