Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

If you have any files that show as unknown, please send them to our email info@shanling.com for a check.
Send just a few examples, no need for full albums.
Thanks for your feedback. The problem is that there is no file at all...if I select the label "Unknown Album", it appears a pop-up saying "No File Found". In addition, the issue happens also under Artist ("Unknown Artist"), Genre ("Unknown Genre"), and Composer ("Unknown comp.") views. So it is not a question of a file without tags or with error in the tags. I have also double-checked all the library on foobar2000 and everything is correct. Any idea?

I also have the "Unknown Album" and "Unknown Artist" issue and gave up already finding a solution. Tags are fine. I use folder browsing instead, all files are there.
Ouch, this is not encouraging at all...I mean, the player works perfectly and I'm happy with that, the issue is not crucial but it is strange at the same time...pity that is not possible to find a solution. May be some hidden folder? I have to check...

Oh, in that case there is no problem. This is standard behaviour of our system, ti always shows these tabs even if they are empty.

Thanks. If that is really the case I don't understand why to display such labels since there is no use and can also be measliding for the user. In addition, looking at this thread, it seems that not all the users have such tabs, so this is strange. Do you have any idea? Should I write to the software development team? Thanks again.

It's default part of the system. If it shows no files, all your files are recognized correctly. Nothing else you can do about it.

Ok, I take it, even if I don't understand (not all the users experince that...?!?!). In case, I would suggest to change at least the name of the tab, because "Unknown Album", etc. are very measliding; I have spent at least two hours in trying to find any issue in the tags of my library.

Can you report at least this to the software development team? Thanks and have a great New Chinese Year!

Hi to all,I hope you are well?
Will there be a function to sort songs by creation date in the future? Would be a useful function, I often want to play songs that I have just saved new on the SD card.
Or does exist a trick? Thank you for the respond in advance.
Kind Regards, Elena

Hi, I have started to use my new M0 Pro today for the first time and noticed the same as in your photos (also after updating to the latest firmware 1.5). Did you find which was the issue in your case? My music library on the micro SD card is clean and perfectly tagged, so I don't know what happens.

Anyone else reading this thread can be of help? @Shanling can you provide a feedback?

Thanks in adavance.
I have the unknown artist or album bug. Drives me nuts. I gave up trying to solve it. You made me laugh tonight!

It's not a bug, it's simply default part of the system. There is nothing to solve about it.

Dear All and @Shanling, I'm writing you in relation to the battery indicator. I have noticed that it doesn't seem to reflect exactly the battery status since I have noticed that, for example, after the three lines level it just goes down to one (and red display) without passing through the step of two lines. Do anyone else experienced the same issue and/or noticed a not proper correspondence between the actual battery status and the related indicator on the display?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Yes, the battery indicator can sometimes not act correctly.

Thanks for the prompt answer. Are you going to fix the issue with a next firmware update?

Our software team continuously works on the accuracy of the battery indicators, but can't share any more details on it.
