No, the system goes folder by folder, it can't shuffle all the songs on the card.

Why does an addict player ask for a location?
It's needed due to Android system putting Bluetooth scan feature under location permissions.
I believe it's now only slowly changing from Android 12 devices, where they split it to its separate permission: https://developer.android.com/guide...etooth/permissions#declare-android11-or-lower

I'm absolutely loving the the H5 I mean it's so versatile. My question is the H7 significantly better or just more power?
I would say more power, overall better sound quality, but with a quite bit different tuning. Where H5 is smooth and warm, H7 is much more energetic, more dynamic.
I adore my H7. Even P1 max sounds very clear and dynamic, with quite good bass. Every my IEMs/HP get more body and clarity

Sometimes when i touch the volume knob to either adjust the volume or wake the screen, the sound disappears. I have to tweak the knob, or sometimes replug the headphone jack, but even that doesn't always work. Sometimes there is no workaround at all and I just have to wait. I feel like there is something wrong with the circuit of the volume knob. Has anyone faced something like that? Can it be fixed somehow?
With this one would recommend reaching out to your seller for warranty check on this unit.

Shanling should have implemented another way to turn on the device rather than pushing the volume button down for few seconds. This is not allowing me to carry H7 in any DDHiFi case. Whenever I use a carry case for it, volume button gets pressed inside the case, gets turned on and totally run out of battery inside the case itself. Depriving me of usage time. I totally avoided keeping it in any case thereafter. Anybody else facing this issue or using a case that doesn’t let H7 behave like this?

Sorry, too lazy to read the whole 63 pages so I am asking my question here directly.
If I add a SD card, can I access it's content with the app I use to control it ?
Is it possible to connect, say a Shanling M3x device to this with the USB-C output and use it as a DAC this way ?

[EDIT 1] OK. It should eb possible, provided the device I want to hook up recognizes the DAC as a USB device. UAPP and Neutron do recognize the Aune S6 as an external DAC, but none recognizes the Sabaj A30d as an external USB DAC. So I hope the H7 would be recognized as external USB DAC... Anyone who can say ?
[EDIT 2] The SHanling H7 is on a promotional offer here and can be found for less than 650€ brand new, at a concrete shop with a 15 days money back guarantee. Offer expires tonight so I think I'm going to order one. It looks like it is something that may fill the gap...

You use the Eddict player app to browse through the files on the Card. You can sue the H7 itself for basic playback control.
You can use M3X or any other device that can work with USB DAC to act as a source for the H7.

I have ordered the H7, but before I go to the store and get it, can you answer these questions ?
1°) If I use my DAP to feed the H7 with USB, it will not charge while connected to H7. At least I assume it swill not charge. So the question is : will an adpater like one of these allow me to use the DAP and charge it at the same time ? I will use a Shanling DAP (I have the m2x, the m3x, the M6, the M6 pro and the M8).

My scope would be to have the DPA connected to the HY with USB and the computer with optical and switch inputs of the H7 when I want to listen to the computer / listen to music.
