H7 and Hiby6pro2 are just brothers in terms of sound delivery ... but H7 has more power and therefore H7 is a little better at high volume. I listened to HD25, 70om speakers....

I have tried and tried (resets / restarts / updates), and I'm still getting extremely noticeable latency / lag when watching any video at all in BT. Doesn't matter if it's YouTube or a downloaded iTunes movie. Every single video in bluetooth has a noticeable lag. It's unwatchable. Any one else having this issue???

This is the nature of Bluetooth, unless you’re using something with proprietary low latency tech.

I wouldn't say that at all. I've had several BT amp/dacs (gryphon / q7 / btr7), none of them had latency...or if they did it wasn't noticeable. Certainly no BT earbuds in the last 4 years or so.

I don't use BT usually, but I had try now: Hiby R5-2 as source of YT-music, H7 as receiver. It was ldac codec on display in H7 and wasn't any latency.

I don't sure does Apple can use LDAC.

All Apple devices. MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, iPhone 14 pro max. All updated. Whether YouTube streaming or a downloaded iTunes movie, it’s very noticeable. Please don’t tell me it’s normal. I’ve owned multiple portable BT amp/dacs, as well as BT headphones and IEMS over the past many many years (I’m 54 and been at this a long time). It’s impossible to gauge the time lag. All I can say it is well after a person speaks or a sound should be made. I have reset / restored / updated / unpaired / re-paired. I can only use BT for music, but that’s just not my use-case for BT. I pretty much only have it to use BT for movies.

Ok, tested it with iPhone 13 and can confirm the sync issue, it was reported to software team.

It's fairly easy to check on the sync delay, there are for example videos on Youtube for sync testing:
