I'm interested, but of course, it depends on the date.

I'm in this year, though February is preferable for me as I may be out of country some time in March.

I'd love to attend and bring a friend or three! I'm particularly interested in demoing the V-Moda M100s, Senn HD800s, Logitech UE6000/9000, and LCD2/3s. I'll bring some of my own gear as well.

Cans: Senn HD25-II, Beyer DT770 Pro 80ohm, AKG K701, Grado SR225, Bose QC (lol)
Amps: Behringer UCA202, DIY SOHA
DACs: GrubDAC, Behringer DEQ24/96 balanced XLR
Other: Henry Engineering Matchbox HD, OneAC power conditioner

I figure my USB => UCA202 => DEQ => Matchbox HD => RCA set-up will be popular since it sounds pretty good for a "budget" desktop system. I found the Matchbox mis-labeled on eBay for $30, and the OneAC was $20! I'm pretty into budget/DIY stuff that still sounds good.

^Would be fun to have a budget rig table/competition at one of these meets someday- a few rigs for each member to vote for <one> favorite.

At the end, the rigs could be listed in an impressions thread with both used & new current price tags plus each member's vote made public for comments to ensue...

Or even then, just a budget area... no components over, say, $500 allowed.  My friends and coworkers are always asking me for headphone recommendations and it would be nice to have more experience with gear in the range they're willing to spend.

^exactly.  Bet your Crack + HD650 sounds great (heard your pair of HD650 before and mackat's Crack + HD650)!

That reminds me, wasn't it your re-master MOFI version of Beck's Sea Change that I heard and need to ask Santa for?

Would anybody mind a 13 year old coming? I'm not too sure my parents will be keen on it. But I have a Grado Sr80i, UE TF10, and Beyer DT880(soon) and as far as amps go I have a O2/ODAC and a FiiO E11.

Nobody would mind at all.  What would your parents not be keen on?  You attending alone?  I can understand that... so bring one (or both) of 'em with you... especially if they also love music.

There was someone maybe just a couple of years older than you at the LA Meetup with his mom.  He had a nice setup with the HD650, a Bottlehead Crack amplifier and some old vinyl (I had a listen to Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" on the setup and it was magical).

We're just normal folks with a hobby.  (Well... most of us...)

I do... minus the vinyl... I'm trying to resist the urge.  And I'm favoring the Burson Soloist because of how detailed and transparent it sounds... though the Crack+Speedball is certainly fun.

Will definitely come, happy to help out, and will even bring a few nice, albeit modest, items for others to experience. Will also bring some awesome coffee beans if anyone is interested...

) I would need to share a ride someone (no money) from LA area.
There is MLK and Pres Day and also spring break march 18-23.
I can bring LCD 3's.
Just putting it out there, if someone can share a ride plz pm me.
