True! But it's been a lot of fun though! It wasn't always based on the opening statement, but, that's Ok!

There's been some good information, some miss-information, some thoughts on the future, and a few history lessons too.

Here's a thought: I wonder if the new HD-700 or HD-800 will accept the tons after market cables everyone has already purchased $$$$. With all the existing Equinox, Moon Audio and such cables already in use with our HD-600 and HD-650 phones, hopefully the new phones will use the same two prong mini plugs!

There's no reason why they have to continue with this design to make it backward compatible, Senn itself certainly doesn't make a profit from it directly. Although the expectation is that they will continue using the mini-plugs.
