Hi,
I just got a pair of Unipolar 2000s off ebay, but I don't have an amp for them. I was wondering if I can use the HER 2000 energizer in the US at 120v? I was also wondering if I could get an old stax energizer and it would work with these (after getting a new plug of course). I know how electrostatic headphones work I'm pretty sure, and they generally have 3 wires, two plate wires and 1 diaphram wire, correct? These only have 2 wire per driver unit, so I'm not sure how these exactly work. compared to electrostatic cans that use 3 wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I found some info on head-fi, but a lot of posts seemed to be deleted replaced with a ".", no idea why.
