yesterday I heard the tiesto 167....I tot it was darn good, just the day after I heard the momentum.
momentum sounded clearer, tighter,
tiesto sounded airer... bigger... cooler.
both are getting my interest.

Momentum = CLOSED     HD600 = OPEN
Momentum = Sub bas       HD600 = NO sub bass
Momentum = Fast             HD600 = Slow
Momentum = 1 year old    HD600= 10 years+ old

They do not really look or sound the same. A bit similar as they are both Sennheiser but the HD600 is not a "bigger Momentum" really is it.

The only things that are making me think of returning these are that the soundstage is not really big enough and does not make you feel like you are surrounded by music like some headphones do eg. HD600. Probably because these have small drivers and small cups..... Other problem is they are not very comfortable but not too bad... Will wait and see how the m-100 compare... But I think the Momentums beat the UE6000 in sound quality quite easily, although comfort and soundstage win on the UE6000, also they cost me 1/2 the amount.

Thank you! I'm tired of people making these comparisons. They're different. So different.

i have always enjoyed sein's open cans....
and wondered about their closed ones,
which hasnt quite achieved the legacy of the hd600/650,
this momentum is giving me lots of hope,
we should see some good, "bigger" closed cans in future,
tuned to perfection.
