From what I understand, Razordogs are authorised Senn stockists so you should be OK. $250 is a very good price!

indeed

Hi everybody!

I'm very new here, but I have ordered a Sony NWZ-F805+Sennheiser IE80 combo.

So guys, I'm glad and proud and interested on your opinions if it a good choice is? I have an old one Sennheiser HD565 headphones, which I'm listening with an Onkyo hi-fi. My question is, how different music sound expirience will give the walkman with the Seni to me?

Many thanks for your answers: Philo

What's a good price for the IE80s?

Amazon has them for 390. Should I wait around for a better deal or is that pretty much what they are going for?

I've tried them and theyre an excellent upgrade of the IE6 if you want more bass. Personally, I think it's a bit overpriced though.

for 350 i dont think its over priced at all... may be ur focusing only on bass...

I do think it is a bit overpriced considering how sloppy it can get down low and with the recessed mids. I need to a/b them with my Pico DAC/amp and without to see if it helps, but I don't really think it does much. That said, I still love them for the insane amount and extension of the bass which I sometimes crave :)

Does anyone know how long Sennheiser´s RMA takes? My broken IE8 (still under warranty) was received at their office on Tuesday. I heard that they replace broken IE8's with the IE80.

Update: As mentioned above, they were received at their office on March 27. Now, 1.5 week later, I still haven't heard anything from Sennheiser. I also sent an email 3-4 days ago but still no response. Quite dissappointing...

Hello! I got mine from Saturn eletronics @ http://www.saturn.de/mcs/product/SENNHEISER-IE-80,48352,439019,278753.html?langId=-3 for 209 euros, but they're 229 euros now. But I think its still a good price if you're ok with ordering from overseas.
