Sennheiser IE800 IEM's

Clean down the ie800 nozzle with alcohol and wash the tips. Really push the tips onto the nozzles. Otherwise you can use the rubber ring from sony isolation tips to secure the spinfits, I use the rings and the tips are absolutely locked on. I`ll put a link with more info below:

As an added note, the CP800`s will not fit the ie800`s.

maybe a video would help better as i tried both and still the spin fit keep popping out

I used the medium stock tips and the medium SpinFit tips are perfect for my ears.
They cost me £7 and it's the best £7 I've eve spent. Who knew that such a little thing could fix a £600 IEM :/
Edit; I've ordered the focal elear and I will be selling the Hd800S, this is as a direct result to rediscovering the IE800 thanks to the SpinFit. The elear looks closer to the ie800 sound on paper but it needs to be damn good to dethrone the ie800 as my go to audio fix at the minute.

Great find James!  I have tolerated the stock tips for a few years now but never quite got on with them, occasionally using Complys instead but these softened the sound a little too much.
The CP100 Medium (Red) tips are a perfect fit for me too.  Comfort is superb and the sound is identical to the stock tips (my biggest worry!)
Even happier with my IE800's now :)

We send to Romania every day lol

SpinFit CP100 Pack

Thanks Phil.  Got my CP100 pack from you today - great service!

This is a bit odd. The CP100 Spinfit tips go on easily by a slight stretch over the end of the IE800 bore, much like most other IEMs. They then stay in place pretty well. Easily well enough to stay attached when putting in and out of your ear.
There isn't anything more to it really.

Given that yours come off too easily, are you 100% sure that you have CP100 Spinfits? I have seen similar Ostry tips marketed as Spinfits before. Also, I assume that your IE800's aren't fakes?!

i guess the ones i used in first place were ostry tips, so i tried the spinfits that came with my empire ears iem and the fit much better without popping out

IMO, spinfit and IE800 don't pair very well together.  Spinfits are made so IEM's can be fully inserted.  IE800's design is not meant to insert the buds all the way in.  I've tried Spinfits for my IE800 and did not like how the sound was changed, so I took em off.

That`s true, I think the ie800`s sound better stock than with the spinfits, but it really depends how much seal you get stock. Since I got a pretty poor seal stock and an unstable fit, with the spinfits I don`t find the sound changes overwhelming and am willing to live with it, I`ll deal with the sound changes in exchange for a proper fit and seal. Tips are really a personal preference and it`s good to have options, people can try Comply ts200 tips or equivalents too, they fit quite firmly on the nozzles.

I just got the IE800 less then 3 hours ago in HK. I am an impulse buyer and I walked by a shop and they had that at the window and next thing you know I walked out with it. I am on the road for the next 6 days so I am going to burn it in on this trip with the Mojo. The Mojo is the great burn in dac/amp since you can listen to something else while you burn in your new gear. I also took the OPPO PM2 with me since it travels so well. I did peek in and listened for just one minute just now and it's really nice sound so far. What I like it's the FIT. I love the fact this small little cable hangs down, not over the ear, I never liked anything over the ear. Let's see what this little thingy will sound like in 4 days time. So far so good.

Ie800s don't usually change with burn in from my experience.

Now that's bad news...

Why would it be bad news?

Ie800 keep their signature fresh and energetic, bass is fast and on spot. It's their thing.

Plus, they do change signature a bit, but to what degree is questionable.

Horribly sucked-out mids. At the moment.

You might not be listening to genuine ie800.

Mid are completely fine, even better than with most IEMs out there. Slightly lower volume than bass and treble but totally not sucked out.

EDIT::: Ie800 is not mid centric though, what were you listening to before?

If you haven't ....try all the different pads....proper fit not comfort can make all the difference in the world...having both is great though.
And as Gheorghe mentioned, hopefully you have a legit pair or it could be what you're accustomed to....but IMHO the mids are about perfect for an IEM.
