A message to invite you to request the new IE80s tested at https://www.rtings.com/
Attention to select the new IE80s and the old IE80
If we pile up votes maybe we will see it move up in the rankings of the preferred gear to be tested

Man I was listening to this last night with WM1A and could stand the muddy bass. No separation, music sounded like karaoke style!

Build feels like cheap plastic. For $250 it’s a total bummer.

I don’t know if these need burn in but I was not expecting this to sound like this.

I do like the case. I wish the Z1R had a case like this for me.

A week with it and it’s going back. My return rate is low. It’s very comfortable and light but sound quality and price vs value is not up there.

I have the BT version and I don't find it very bad.
It has full sound , great bass , nice separation and soundstage , enough detail but yes there is a stridency at some point of the high frequency.

About to pull the trigger on these but also have the JVC FX99X in mind too.

I listen to techno and my source is a Sansa Clip+ (Rockbox). Any other suggestions? Previously owned the Sony XB90 and adored its sublime subbass.

Sounds like a pretty good choice, and Clip+ should drive them pretty good.
If you finally buy them I'd be interested to hear your opinion on them.

Anyone compare these to the FH5/7 or FA7?
