Mine are 43XXX made in Ireland and bought in 2022 hope that helpsI purchased my pair mid 2023 and it has a 053XXX serial number and is made in Ireland. Seems to line up with what you got. I wouldn't worry too much.

Mine are SN 36XXXX Made in Germany. I have no clue what year they are, but man do they sound spectacular. Photo because, why not:
Is there anyway, to tell when (year) these were made? I'm a little concerned I may have gotten a used pair. Everything looks and feels fine with the cans and cables, but the box is a little ratty, and loose like it's been opened before. Anyway, mine say made in Ireland with a 6-digit serial number starting with 055XXX stamped on the headband.

"Made in Germany" wrote on the headband of mine.

I can see it.Is there anyway, to tell when (year) these were made?
Why are people hiding the serial numbers? Anyway, not planning to get rid of my precious anytime soon.
Not sure what you think you see cause that image surely isn't mine, and yet somehow you attribute that image to my question with "can see it" See what???I can see it.

I don't agree that this is any type of issue here, but....To prevent fraud and protect privacy.

Is anyone aware of a protective travel case for the HD800s that does NOT require you to detach the headphone cables to store it?
I don't want to detach the cable from the headphone every time I store it because of multiple reports of the cable connection point breaking when attempting to detach the cable because it fixes on so ridiculously firmly.

My bad. I clearly jumped the gun on my reply. It was not your question in the first place. Not sure what you think you see cause that image surely isn't mine, and yet somehow you attribute that image to my question with "can see it" See what???
That was a picture of my unit, btw.
Anyone have pad recommendations if I find the sibilance to be a little too hot at times?
