You can buy something likes this. Clean it up and if you feel its not enough, you can gently moisten microfibre cloth and clean earps further more. It will dry up fast and you aint gonna need few days. Few hours at most.
P.S i never seen such thick padding on these headphones... Maybe its camera angle or new revision?
Naa this unit I bought is 2+ years old...but may be around 150 hrs used per seller...so the padding is from 2017 makes

Reasonable priced cables means stick to stock. If you want unreasonable cables prices, I got some names

Worth? Well that loaded question can keep us with phones and ear buds. But yes I’m a cable guy with outrageous interconnects, usb, hp cables. They each made a difference but imo ymmv etc etc etc

Haha...how much of a SQ difference would those unreasonably priced cables make? Are they worth it... thanks

Personally I've never heard any difference between cables (as long as they are properly manufactured with low resistance) but yot question can easily start a flame war in here :wink:

@TYATYA

What is that on the ring you use? Puddy? Or ?

Link?

@shoaibexpert
Your HD800 is loose. You need to rescrew it from the inside cups. That gap is not suppose to be like that. it needs to be tightly flush. Nothing will technically happen to your headphones but that gap section inside it is where the solder wires are.

It does look beautiful. Which Lamb skin pads were these? Don't these touch your ears? Did these change the sound signature? Thanks

See product name as in pics.
Price also on Amazon.
It is worth for the price. Comfort. Does not touch my ears (I have small ears).
Roughly speaking, thickness +3 and diameter -5mm

Good sound.
There is a little thicker sound but no darkening. Not much changing but can be heard.
I like this sound.
Sound stage: does not change. But, if pressing as in pics, heavenly stage will comes.
This effect doesnt come when I doing so with stock pad (my stock pad is still not wear out).
Any time I realse my figures, hd800s stock sound come back. When I press the pads (a bit harder than seen in pic), open baffle speaker sound is what I feel.
Completely forget or non-sensing of 800s on my ears (except touching sens of contact pads).
Listen as like sound stream flow in to my ears. As like when our eyes do not focus on any thing but light still come in.
Not only stage but also detail and shaprness increasing.

I think it is the sweet point of this cans.
Center of the metal dome mesh?

My rough dust cover is puched to be maby big holes. I want to use w/o rough dust cover for better detail but think of safety to the drivers...

A product f0.Q of Foq Japan.
They have introduced in their webstie.
I am not sure to effect on the cans but nothing harmful.
On my hdvd800, I stick big sheet on some in the base and the input transformer.
It works.
