I have using and have burned my 6xx for about 150 hours. My creative AE5 have a dedicated bi amp which makes the 6xx great, however also provide good analytics and on top, but the bass feels a bit flat for my liking. Now I paired it with

I agree! The use of decimals in the imperial / United States customary system is an egregious offense! What on Earth is one tenth of one inch?!What?!
Just... divide one inch into ten parts...? Is that not better than 3/8 or 1/16 or whatever imperials work on?

My grandfather rolls in his grave at such remarks! The problem is that (most*) imperial rulers are not divided by 10, they're divided by three and four. 0.100" simply doesn't "exist" for most applications. There's 1/8" or even 3/32", but not 1/10".Just... divide one inch into ten parts...? Is that not better than 3/8 or 1/16 or whatever imperials work on?
Anyway, the joke was that Reinhold posted a seemingly random picture and, seemingly randomly, said "What?!" I was replying facetiously as if I knew what s/he was talking about.
*I actually saw one not too long ago that was divided by 10. I can't remember where I saw it or when or who had it, to the extent that I'm wondering if it was a dream.
Metric all the way. The Romans knew best. Stole it from the Syrians I think

Sooo... You like imperial measurements, then? I guess that makes sense since Rome was an, uh, empire.Metric all the way. The Romans knew best. Stole it from the Syrians I think
The metric system was adopted after the French Revolution.

It's more than time for you guys to give up your archaic measurement system and embrace the all knowing all giving "banana for scale".

You could always defect to the colonies! If you ever get homesick, we even have a New England where everything is just the same as Ye Olde England, only newer! There's even a New London and a Little Compton and a Manchester and the mountains are called the Berkshires and we know that "Worcester" is pronounced by mostly ignoring its spelling.
Anyway, let's not let this devolve into politics.

But how do you know if you're looking at a regular ol' banana, a plantain, or a latundan banana? Our bananas need to be standardized! It's more than time for you guys to give up your archaic measurement system and embrace the all knowing all giving "banana for scale".
hello,
Please suggest IEM's which can be an in ear alternative to the Sennheiser 600/650/660s. (To use in my office). I really love the 600/650/660's type of sound quality/signature and would prefer almost the same sound attributes.
I know i won't be able to find one as i am still a newbie and have limited exposure to head fi world.
Presently i'm using Apple earpods.
Thanks in advance.

In fact, they're even more refined. Honestly, they're the most refined sound I've ever heard regardless of them being IEMs, yet with that HD 650 bass and mids (better bass extension though). Put some JVC medium-large spiral dots on them and you're good to go.
