Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

Good value, but lets say less than $100 US.
Thanks,
R

My HD650 cable came from BTG Audio.  Its a modular silver plated copper cable, so it was a bit above $100.  If you went plain copper, and not modular, I would guess it would be close to $100...

Although it's true that the O2 is famously very neutral I would still describe it as edgy compared to my Ember. I also don't think the O2 puts out enough power to really take control of the 650. The extra power of the Ember really is noticeable, particularly as the volume is increased & with more demanding musical passages.

Having said that I don't know if the O2 can be bettered at its price-point. The Ember isn't a competitor in that department. It would also be fair to say that at the Ember's price point there are a few natural competitors.

Maybe talk to cCasper-TFG on here!

He's the best all-around person to talk to. Great communication, great craftsmanship, fair price and most importantly he doesn't take months to get the product to the consumer.

IMO, the delay to respond is the most import thing!

It was kinda hard to feel girls up when I was on stage in the band, played guitar and trumpet in a band from middle school until graduating from college.  Did have some hot girlfriends in high school, Suellen K, Kaye H, Elaine T, Myra S, and June N; that's the lasting impressions, the music helped set the mood

Have to agree with all you, he's helped me with great instructions on making removable cables on my TH-600 and DT-990, very responsive.

Just outside of Scotland.... Michigan....

Lol. There's a village in Scotland called California, believe it or not. There's a Moscow too. Houston too, obviously.
