I just went to best buy and put these puppies on and ERMAHGARD they were so awesome, crisp clean bass, and great mids and highs, the only problem... the price :frowning2:. I can only spend about 130 and i dont know what to get! Im looking at mostly Sennheisers 4x9 line and 518 if they are like the 558's. I have also heard very good things about the philips uptown.I really don't know weather to save up some more or just get something like the 518's that are close in quailty? I listen to really everything, I like good bass though and want really good overall sound quality. Sources are Samsung Fascinate, HP Pavilion dv7 with beats audio. Thank you please help me out!

I've bought from here with good results.

Hey @kg jag  What are some pros and cons of the 518 compared to the 558? @Tundra tunes Is it a good idea to buy refurb? What does that mean anyway, would it be better to buy used than refurb?

Refurb means it was returned and repaired, or it was returned and checked out to be as good as new.  Dakmart is listed as an authorized Sennheiser dealer according to the Sennheiser USA website, so you can probably be assured that you aren't buying a fake.  I'm not sure but I'd think they also come with a one year warranty.  They sell a lot of headphones on Amazon under a different name and their feedback is generally really good.

I'd probably rather buy refurb in this situation because it probably wasn't used at all, but instead returned because of buyers remorse, or comfort issues.  If you buy used they might have some wear and tear issues.  At least this way you know it was checked out by someone who should know what they are doing.

When I was looking at the 5x8 line, I found these reviews to be very helpful (and accurate after listening to them myself):
