These headphones just sound very natural to me.

Agreed! And forgiving too, if the music isn't perfect. Nice all rounder.
Next on my list: Utopia 2022 or Austrian Audio Composer

Composer might be better for you due to its ease of drive. Utopia still sounds better to me. Also I feel like you need tube for Composer whereas you can get away with solid state for Utopia if you have a musical source.

In terms of sound profile Utopia is closer to 660S2

I tried both. I am all in for Utopia, but if you like studio monitors like headphones (I don't), Composer could be right for you.
French wine or Austrian wine (not wiener :) )? :)

Cheers!
I am leaning Utopia.

Definitely include the NDH 30 in your list. You'll be delighted with what's possible today for less than €/$ 1,000. Try to compare them all using top electronics to appreciate the true value of each headphone.

I've owned HD660s2 for 1 month and a half. 1 month later, I also bought HD600. The reason is that I felt though HD660s2 is very good, better than my previous HD560s, its vocal is a bit more recessed than my sound taste. However, I can say HD660s2 is a more well rounded headphone, while HD600 is more neutral. HD600 vocal is a bit better, but not much. I think it's setup-dependent.

My setup is:
- Apple Macbook Pro 16 inch M1
- Apple type-c to AV adapter MUF82
- Chord Qutest stock usb-b to usb cable
- Chord Qutest: 3v, default filter. I have not tried any alternative linear power supplies. Stock power supply works better in my setup than ifi power x.
- Mogami 2803 molded RCA cable: I own some pairs of RCA cables and this works best in my setup. Highly recommended. My other pairs are: Mogami 2497 cable with Mogami 7553 RCA terminators, Sommer Epilogue, Blue Jeans LC-1. All pairs have length of 1 meter.
- Topping L30II: Medium gain works well with 2 two headphones. I also own JDS Atom 2 amp, and I think L30II works better in my setup. Atom 2 makes my setup sound a bit too warm.
Yeah I feel the same 660s2 and S1 technically are better than the others and S2 a bit more, But vocals on 600 always feel like they are in ther bubble it's like the headphone tells u what to listen, Also on 650 headphone colour's and warm the sound telling u what to listen.
On 660s2 is like everything is there in balance and u choose what u want to hear , that's why maybe some people find them boring.
That's my opinion:)

I am going to get the Shanling M30 Pro eventually.
