Hi, I asked a question yesterday regarding the type of headphone I should buy as I just sold my beats by dre solo hd's.
I've done a little research today and whittled my selections down to 2 headphones which is in my price range.
I just wanted some info on which is the better headphone all round, between the sennheiser hd 280 pro and the sony mdr-7506?
I will be running them through my galaxy s4.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I've just been watching some YouTube reviews and people tend to side with the sonys more, so I will be going with them.
Are they ok to play them through a smartphone or iPod? Or do I need an amp?

7506 is rated at 63 ohms.  Technically I suppose you could play them through a portable device but, most any headphone will benefit from some amplification and you won't be experiencing their true potential.

7506 doesn't need an amp, it is efficient enough.
