Sennheiser CX 550 Style II, worth it? $40

Are these worth for $40? Offer comes from a local shop. I was interested in SoundMagic PL30/50 but considering this low price it might be a good oportunity.
 
I listen to all kind of music, but preferences are pop, rock and electronic.

Sennheiser are the toothpaste manufacturers of the earphone world.  Could they have any more names for their millions of products? Pfft.
