@Sennheiser might have some insights, though it's not uncommon to see prices change given the long-term impact Covid has had a lot of manufacturing across not just the US but the world as a whole.

This is an exceptionally well manufactured flagship in ear monitor, I had a chance to handle one last year at SoCal when it was in development and it really is top notch!!

Any recent price change are likely due to the higher manufacturing costs associated with such a premium product.

I can't say for sure what happened but, if they they did wind up incurring an increase to the manufacturing cost of this due to some unfortunate circumstance, I would rather them increased price to preserve the craftsmanship and performance as originally intended versus cutting expenses elsewhere...

Everything is over msrp right now in the tech industry for almost every company out there. The exception being Microsoft and apple but that’s because they buy in such bulk and get priority parts. Not fair to judge a company on a global supply chain issue

Funny thing is that the retail price was definitely lower, and I’m surprised that they had the guts to up the price considering that the IE600 has been deemed the superior set, i get the market is all over the place right now but it’s still just weird to see.
