I thought I should finally join after dropping into the forum for years.

Current equipment is as stated:

Sennheiser HD-600s, bought about 13 years ago. Finally getting new foams for them, as the old ones deteriorated whilst in storage for a few years.

Sennheiser CX-400 IIs, my day-to-day solution, and for when I want some doof doof. They make the HD-600s sound incredibly lacking in bass. The wiring in the plug is starting to get a little finicky (one channel quickly dropping out then coming back), so it's days might be numbered.

Sony XE-1s, still in a box, as backups for when the CX-400s die.

Philips Uptowns, recently unboxed. Not sure when I'll use these. Perhaps at work, or perhaps to replace CX-400s when commuting.

Fiio E1. New toy (paid $2!) which lets me use the HD-600s on the iPhone primarily.

Start with a Headamp Gilmore Lite as a start and work up the scale....
