I thought I would get a thread going since I must not be the only one who has them. Mine started breakin this morning.
How do you find they compare to the M9?I thought I would get a thread going since I must not be the only one who has them. Mine started breakin this morning.
I reviewed these recently. In short... I like them a lot.
IE 600 is arguably the most visceral, physical IEM in my collection of nearly 200 IEMs. Sound signature is basically V-shaped (U-shaped if you wanna be charitable), but with very well-tuned midrange. Treble is a bit aggressive, and bass is deep and big without any midrange smearing.
Only caveat: I think Sennheiser's stock silicone tips are awful. If you don't want to use their foam tips (I don't like foams), I recommend trying Final E-type tips. Worked great for me on the IE 600.

And, there is a lot to like. IE 600 has a fun tuning. The break in helped to smooth them out and make them very musical. Always break in DD and planar drivers and certain electronics. The IE 600s are a keeper.thank you. I always enjoy your review videos!
Hi, what do you think of the IE600 when compared to the Kato? And, there is a lot to like. IE 600 has a fun tuning. The break in helped to smooth them out and make them very musical. Always break in DD and planar drivers and certain electronics. The IE 600s are a keeper.
If you don't mind me asking, when comparing both, what areas do you think the IE600 really shine on and what areas does Kato manage to somehow keep up on, if any?It sounds better and a touch more like live music to me. I sometimes think it sounds better than the IE900. It is also my most comfortable along with the 900
