How does this compare sound wise to Cowon X5/X7 and Sandisc Clip +? Any early testing at all? Also which player can this player compete with? Long thread so excuse the questions. Thank you.

The player isn't out in the wild yet, so your questions will have to wait. These should beat the Clip, though.

Those people who can hear the difference between Redbook CD and say 24/192 then the answer is "YES". RB samples down to 16/44

I received an email from them a couple days ago that they were ready to ship the Player very soon but they needed to update info concerning the Dura Impacts color choices. So I filled out a second survey concerning that. Anyone else get that?

Where did you see/hear that? Can't see anything on the indi campaign?

Can't wait for the PHA but I'm worried still that communication has remained awful since the drive ended. What happened to all the IRC chats during production?

Look bottom of page on indi was five members one that's on had a name like Patrick with 600+ Facebook members he is now off the list, someone on here might have old screen shot, yes the lack of communication is a huge concern

The name that is missing in the list is Pratik Shah - he used tho post on here and on the IRC chats as TikiCD, which might explain why they have gone quiet if he is no longer associated with the project. Fingers crossed that is just an internal things Cyberdrive and the production is all rattling away as promised. Looking forward to March!

the indiogogo site has been updated lots of times . Looks like they're ignoring everything else and just doing that. The Pro X is apparently due for March some of the other stuff is being shipped end of January
