Seattle/Portland" Meet in the Middle"

I'll be bringing a Ming Da MC84-C07 with telefunkens and rca 5751s, and Beyer DT 990 600 ohm. I was thinking of bringing a SoundQuest SQ12 cd player, but it sounds like there will be plenty of sources. If anyone is interested in hearing it I'll bring it. Looking REAL forward to my first meet!

If anyone can bring an extra DAC (of good quality using S/PDIF) I would rather appreciate it. Currently I am planning on bringing my Yamaha HT receiver which has ok DACs but is quite large and heavy.

Im searching everything I can find like I did with my first setup. There is a lot less info the higher up you go. Im possibly thinking about a mac with amarra with ssd drives and emperical audio is going to come out with an asynch 24/192 usb pacecar reclocker soon then into the alpha. I would like to drop a sacd player in there too but I think I will want to restock my cans, tubes, and tweaks first. I want this next setup to last a couple of weeks.

It is all good. Man I'm a little nervous. Going to a show and I'm introducing the headlining band on stage here in a little bit. I have to talk some smack about them.

Less than a week away! Woo!

I'll try to bring a variety of different music CD's for fun. I was also in the process of using an external HD to transfer some FLAC to my laptop for giggles, and somehow managed to wipe 30 or so gigs of FLAC files from my desktop. Unfortunately that HD was also the one that NORMALLY has my backup files on it, so I'm in the process of rebuilding. Luckily I still have almost all of the CDs on hand, but BLEAH! Sorry...just had to vent a little.

Well this Sunday I discovered that my wife also has a commitment and one of us needs to be with the kids, she is a real angel is all I can say.

I may be bringing a work in progress ( if it continues to behave )

I will bring along my transdac and SACD source as well as a collection of orthodynamic headhones.

Sachu will be bringing a veritable Cavalli Audio feast
Stacker II
EHHA
EXSTATA
as well as the HE5 and Smeggy modded thunderpants

We may be roping Devwild into the mix too which would bring some cool stax gear and a selection from his formidable collection.

well what I meant was that this past Sunday I realized I wasn't going to make it as we have dual commitments on Saturday coming, but she is going to figure something out with the kids and I will be able to attend

Ahh I'm not sure if I can make it anymore. My friend isn't able to come now, so I need to figure out another way to get there. If anyone could possibly provide a ride let me know. Worst comes to worst I could drive myself, but I'm a little concerned that my car won't survive the journey...
