Makes you wonder why a company that makes high powered headphone amps would design highly sensitive headphones lol

Because this is the only way to sell quantities and this is one of the main reasons why a customer decides to buy the model
(Models that are difficult to drive are much harder to sell 😉)

NOMAX

Ps.lol

These are photos of the planar magnetic prototype.
Final appearance will be slightly different.

Two headphones, one planar magnetic flagship and one closed back with dynamic driver.

Planar magnetic about €1800 and dynamic about €800.

Drivers specially made for these headphones alone.
Both easy to drive about 32Ω and high sensitivity.

Both with detachable cables with 3-pin XLR.
Aluminium frames and yokes.
Padded headband
Magnetically attached ear-pads.
Build like a tank but not heavy m

Of course they are going to have a touch different sound signatures the one from the other.

I had the chance to listen extensively to the planar version and what I can say is that it sounds really good.
I criticized a couple of things and they said that are excaltly what they are trying to improve in the final tuning.

Both made in Germany.

I am going to review both, ETA about 8 weeks or so with a grain of salt.
update on these ?
