Hi, i'm using an ms1i and i'm pretty with that for the fun sound (with 4 holes in the back), i also have a pair of etymotic mc5 for the portable section. Now i was looking for an headphone with an "upgraded" mc5 sound (hear what is on the cd) which is analytical with still a good bass. I'm gonna use only an udac2 and i'm not gonna get an external amp. I was thinking that maybe the dt880 will be a good choices, but since i'm not gonna use an amp i don't think that it's gonna work.
 
For the budget, let's stick under 300$ (which are a lot of money for me ._.)

The K-702 are great studio monitor hps, but better to get amp or some sound card like the Apogee Duet/mini DAC. Check out if the udac2 can easy power the K701/2.
