Ok, as I contemplate adding another vidar to the mix the thought of having to turn on and off three power switches for the rag and two vidars just to listen to music is annoying. I guess I could bring my power strip out from behind the cabinet and use the main power switch but that's inelegant and ugly. I've been looking at silver power conditioners that would match the silver rag and vidars but haven't been able to find a reasonably priced one. Any suggestions or other solutions?
These are beefy and look good...

Ok.
I've used APC including H10 for a few home applications.
May find a used one.

I bought three of them when they were discounted several years ago.
Others: Furman, Tripp Lite, Surge X (non-MOV), PS Audio (high cost).

Good luck.

Mike
Thanks Mike. The APC and Belkin pure AV are the ones I've been looking at. The Furman only seem to come in black. I'll look into the others. If anyone else has any other suggestions or pics of their set ups with one that would be great.

I have the Belkin Pure AV. At least I think I do (not home to check). Thing seems kind of big for a table top device.

Anyone out there ever gave a listen to Trenner & Friedl speakers? I heard the Suns last week and was pretty impressed. Speakers that fit in the palm (but just barely) that had some guts and clarity.

I have a pair of Amphion Argon1 on the way and looks like I'll be getting a Vidar and another Freya.

What are the dimensions of those? I don't see them on the website.

A friend of mine is the UK distributor for Amphion, and I helped him out at the last couple of Indulgence Shows in London. We used the Argon 1 and I was very impressed with them. Great sounding little speakers.

Awesome.

I ordered them without hearing them, I've been reading nothing but good reviews of the Argon, Studio and Helium lines for as long as I can remember.

They look great. But I'm in the market for really small and they're bigger than the Suns. They're also way more affordable so I'd like to hear them.

The Argon0 is their smaller book shelf, also Helium 410 I think.

If you want tiny speakers, try these...

I heard them at the same show as the Argons, and was impressed with sound from such little boxes. They are built a few miles down the road in the lovely North West of England.
