I saw this and the magni+. I was about to pull the trigger on the SMSL C200 but now I am considering these...any thoughts out there?

happy to see they finally embraced the USB-C on them and they moved a switch to the front! Hopefully one day the power switch will too haha

Any comparison from Modi+ to Modi 3e? If Schiit is able to produce a run of the new Modi multibit in December and considering it will have improvements and changes from the OG Multibit, I wonder what it will be selling for?

I believe it was posted that a new Modi multibit would be around $300.
I'll eventually buy one but my original Modi multibit still makes me happy as do a few other DACs that I use.

New modi and magni sound great, punchy, crisp and detailed.

i saw that but isn’t Modi+ a nice improvement over Modi 3? maybe I’m mixing it up with Magni+ over the previous version

It is claimed to be an improved implementation of the ESS chip but honestly I don't know if id be able to tell them apart.

AKM->ESS was not improvment, it was need.

I had a Modi 3E. I tried to like it but listening fatigue set in fast. I think schiit did a decent implementation of the ES9018, I did like it better than a Topping D50s I had. I'm really enjoying my Modi multibit 2. I'm a long time mm1 user.
