Does anyone have suggestions as to what a worthy upgrade to the magnius would be? I'm really just looking for something similar but with a digital interface on it because I like the vibe.

I don't have expectations of better sound, different sound. Ideally something that "measures" as well, too.

A digital screen that conveys information.
Ok understand.

You like having a display that tells you stuff.

Most of the Schiit stuff doesnt have a digital display, mostly analog switches, lights and pushbuttons.

The Schiit amp, staying in that price range (Magnius) would be the Schiit Midgard. For the cost, it has tons of power, is a reference amp IMO, will drive almost anything well. Often overlooked. But no digital display.

Now Schiit has introduced something called "ForkBeard", which allows an APP on your phone to display and control stuff on your "Schiit Stack"...you might want to go over to the Schiit site and read up on it...something that Schiit has done that will be very interesting out into the future.

For displays, there are many amps out there, how much is your budget?

Good luck with your search!

Yes! Correct. Thanks for your patience, I could have done a problem explaining that. I currently have a magnius / modius stack, which i absolutely love. But am seeking something with similar performance, but with a digital display.

In terms of price range, I would love to stay under $1,000. But I can flex it in either direction as needed.

You might be looking at a CHi-Fi gear or a piece like this:

This is a German piece of equipment that is top notch, its a dac first but has a 1.5 watt headphone cability.

https://www.soundstagehifi.com/inde...-rme-adi-2-dac-fs-digital-to-analog-converter

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/de...D/DA+Converters+-+RME+-+ADI2DAC+SKU&gclsrc=ds

Several other choices but I dont like most of them..but do a search on APOS etc

With the RME ADi you can use it with your Schiit Magnius AMP as well.

Good Luck!

Burson Soloist 3XP or Aune S9C could be good options for you, although the S9C is a DAC/AMP combo.

Also did Schiit discontinue the Magnius? I can't find it on their website anymore.
