Curious to know if anyone has any experience with both these amps.  I know its hard to compare tube vs SS, but Ive heard v200 sounds pretty tubelike for a solid state amp.  Anyone have a recommendation?

I have the V200 and HE-500 combo and it sounds really good, one of the bests amps for the HE-500 based on what I've listened to. Don't expect it to sound very tube like as it does not really compared to a real tube amp. I can't comment on the Lyr.

No experience on Schiit gear (would love to test their stuff someday, but they're rare in EU), but had a V200 for loan once. It sounds more "tube" than any tube gear I've heard so far. Extremely powerful and punchy bass with a smooth non-fatiguing treble. In my opinion it's definitely not a neutral amp, but that doesn't mean it's a bad one. I usually prefer gear that is not "neutral".
