I already own the Taction and have recently ordered the Fostex TH-900 MkII. So yeah number 1 and 3 on the list is a nice validation for me in this decision

Does multibit matter to you? Jot's DAC does not have a multibit option.

Instead of the eitr and the modi 2 multi bit why did you not just get the bifrost multibit? It is a gen 5 usb as well as multibit and up-gradable in the future.

I haven't considered that when I made the EITR purchase. It was ordered a few weeks before ordering the headphone system, for another purpose (Using low jitter SPDIF instead of HDMI for audio with my Pre/Pro).
Since I already had the EITR I thought about trying it with the Modi2 MB and see where I like it more (there is a "risk" I'll want to buy another ).

So the EITR is already here (currently connecting my HTPC to a pre/pro) and the Modi2 MB and Asgard2 were ordered but I might be able to make changes to the order if I'll hurry since it hasn't shipped yet.

Removing the EITR from the equation, would you say Bifrost MB ($599) vs. Modi2 MB ($250) is worth the $350 extra?

1. Mimby --> Asgard2 - $450
2. EITR --> Mimby --> Asgard2 - $677
3. Bifrost --> Asgard2 - $850
