Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Little excitement this morning, btw. Took my bike out for a little test ride just after sunrise this morning after spending the past week tuning it up in the basement. Two miles from my house a black bear erupted from the ditch on the side of the road a dozen feet ahead of me (he'd been hidden in the very tall grass) and sprinted across the road. Thankfully I had time to avoid it and he didn't pay any attention to me.

Needless to say the
If it were me, the monitor on my cycling computer would have registered a brief yet significant STROKE!!! :astonished:

I am also a fan of aged rum.🤪

I just received a stylus for the turntable I will send out when you are back in town so that is nearly a done deal.
How about a plinth made from whiskey or other casks? I think you can do it...
Will do, I was considering donating to the @bcowen cardboard sanctuary but I believe the state of Oklahoma shut it down.🤪
Health or moral code violations? Or, just on principle?
Even Rose Imperial ?
Was unaware. Will check with the champagne drinker (guzzler?)....

... the VH3. ... the sound is mesmerizing. The VH3 just sounds relaxed, easy, and unstrained while delivering a spacious soundstage with air and seemingly precise instrument location ... Bass is nice and extended yet controlled at highest gain (no feedback). ...

It's really hard to do any critical listening because I get too involved in the music and its delivery via this mini FV. That's a good thing, right?? VH2 never really drew me in like this with VH2 sounding more SS than VH3 does. VH3 lets me hear more of each tube's character/flavor it seems.

... Fun times ahead!!!
Something to fill the extra hours with!

Now, question is, does VH3 favor any particular genre? Disfavor any?

I doubt Schiit would play ball with this. Seems like a slightly larger version of gaming the system. However. I am not Schiit. They will be going thru the list, after which, standard upgrades will still be available after.

I also have to imagine there are no plans for a GS with the new gear. That’s what differentiates the two.
But is it gaming if they wrote it?

On my last trip to Yosemite before the move to Texas, I hiked along the north part of Valley Loop Trail, roughly at Devil's Elbow. Coming around a corner, I found myself looking straight into the eyes of a grizzly MF'ing huge bear, sitting by the trail maybe 50 yards ahead of me, watching the river.
I'm glad to have experienced something like that.
I'm elated to live to tell the tale.
I'm eager to have this remain a one time thing.

I have already made a Blanton’s whiskey rack using an oak cask and that was enough.

I just became the owner of two Micro Seiki tonearms when I really only need one.🤪 I suppose I can build a table that uses three arms or improve the table I am giving @DACattack.

“Too bad it's unethical to divert the funds to an Yggdrasil for me :-D”

Absolutely unethical and see it doesn’t work if you ask for something, 😉 Also for the most part I talked to people for whom I had built or gifted some item in the past. They tend to know if I say I will do something, I do it.

I'm pretty sure it will learn to LOVE what I love and to HATE what I hate. :D

Wow better than an emergency alert from your bike computer for hitting the bear.
