I should have a Vali 3 on the way soon so I may well need adapters and other tubes to try. Advice is welcome.Always leave room for expansion. So probably a 10-shelf rack.
Let me help you. Buy Qualcomm stock!!!! Yesterday. But I always like to help. And especially when you're building something.
Ah, right, that's what the challenge (which I somehow remembered as a game, eh, somewhat close I guess) was!Well, to be that it would have to have Yorkshiremen in it. There is only one in the ORIGINAL. And it's not who you think......
Hmmm, how many products are this form factor...But I always like to help. And especially when you're building something.
Will be listening on this as well. You two should get a commission from Jason for this, you sold 2 Vali 3's!I should have a Vali 3 on the way soon so I may well need adapters and other tubes to try. Advice is welcome.
I will try to consider shelf layouts this afternoon, four or five is easily done. I have some amazing bloodwood that would contrast well with birdseye maple.Hmmm, how many products are this form factor...

I have been enjoying reading your bachelor fun time for the last several days, listening through an Iggy. I definitely have dog pics, and drink pics to share. But I have an audio question. Lol! I listen to digital through a digital audio player. I have a Ponon and a FiiO. Would the Iggy make this sound better?Yeah, the final clean up is today before I head on the 2+ hour drive to traffic-from-hades Boston Logan Airport. (And then another 2+ hours back).
Now that my son’s officially a Pilot for Southwest, I think we’ll start flying out of Manchester NH (an easy peasy 45 minute drive AND you only need 30 minutes for security as it’s a right-sized airport IMO). We get free standby flights for life with them (reward for our investment in edumacatin him up to be one o them there pilot guys).
I got the worst of the (previously hidden) puppy fur balls up, now a final vacuum and finding somewhere to put all that audiophile errata currently on the table…
One other thought “the morning after Yggy’s first full day of usel/listening”…
Now that I know that digital doesn’t have to SUCK and sound like AZZ anymore….
I should look into some kinda streaming to feed the habit…
Let's go with 5. Vali 3, Magni Piety, Loki mini, MMB2, and then I can either put the streamer or a Sys in the last spot.I will try to consider shelf layouts this afternoon, four or five is easily done. I have some amazing bloodwood that would contrast well with birdseye maple.
... hoi, no need to quote Finnegan! But I always like to help. And especially when you're building something.
Easy enough. I am trying to recall if I used rosewood on your flight board, most likely I can use that for contrast as well. I will know more later today once I clear the decks in my shop.Let's go with 5. Vali 3, Magni Piety, Loki mini, MMB2, and then I can either put the streamer or a Sys in the last spot.

Back in the days of international travel via Delta business class, the sad decision was made to no longer offer Glenlivet scotch to the passengers. Only Dewar's would be available. That took some getting used to, but after grousing at the flight attendants on a couple of round trips, we all kinda got used to it.Dewars and soda, in a tall glass, packed with ice, and a lemon twist is a damn near perfect sweltering hot day drink. That is a hill I will die on.
The factories where I was employed had work instructions, while the distillery has house recipes. That sounds like a helluva lot more fun! It's the house recipe at the distillery I work at. I think it's 2 parts whiskey (rye in this case), 1 part amaro, and 1 part sweet vermouth, garnished with a twist of orange peel.
I like this way of thinking. Refreshing, at least. If you’re going by strict cocktail orthodoxy, a Boulevardier should be two parts bourbon, to one part each sweet vermouth and Campari. On the Negroni Family Tree, the rye drink is the Old Pal (1-1-1 Rye, Campari, Dry Vermouth), but Rye Boulevardiers are excellent, so screw orthodoxy (and the best Negroni is a Mezcal Negroni…)
