My cover band used to do Love Changes. Brings back many memories of those bitchin' club gigs.Very under-rated and relegated to obscurity by their label.

Polka! Polka! Polka!Nope. What gave you that idea?
I do and I don’t. I actually learned to play it for a bunch of years when I was a kid, so it’s a bit of a love/hate relationship.
That should be grobe Leberwurst (chunky liverwurst) to the right of the tomatoes, yes. Unsure about what the one to the left of the tomatoes is. Could be Teewurst (tea sausage spread), but the color doesn't really fit. Could also be Obatzda (a Bavarian soft cheese spread).
I'm really not a fan of blood sausage. I think I can count all the people I know who actually do like it on just one hand. The picture I posted is more of a Bavarian style breakfast. Blood sausage is more of a Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland thing.
Thanks for the idea @Ripper2860 ... this is tremendous music. The NDR BigBand is located in Hamburg.
Glad I found you! Thanks for the tagline, it has and will always resonate positively with me (and enjoy your time with family)!Schiit N Music
Monday morning
That may be me
I am two days away from visiting the grandkids. Mostly packed, mail stopped and such.
F turned two Saturday, R is 4 1/2.
I will most likely fall way behind here.
Taking a portable IEM kit for the travels.
Scotch and ales in my future.
Enjoy the Schiit N Music
Oy… made ya look!OK, made me look that up. Glad to see my first guess of her being related to Lorena Bobbitt was wrong.
But wait! I didn’t think Bill had a closet to come out of? Or did I miss something (again)?..... he's now an unabashed, unadorned solid-stater .....
most excellentI had to take some shots of this excellent looking and sounding tube!

Late to the party on this one, but no. For me it was the French teacher. When she left, I quit french class. Very shallow, I know,Or, just putting this out there, adolescent hormones made all the female chemistry teachers hot?

I'll add it on, why not!Are we going to need 'progeny' on the sine wave now?

I was thinking today that pinching an idea from the old Audiovalve playbook wouldn't go astray, where you could switch the amp to and from OTL and transformer-coupled modes would be ideal. The biggest issue with the Valhalla is the narrow band of truly compatible headphones. It runs out of juice pretty quick. Now add the impedance multiplier and some other lurking tweaks up his sleeve, that could be interesting.
I did that! In our old apartment, since my wife hated getting things from the top cupboards, I used them to store boxes from audio gear instead, along with other stuff.Perhaps in the kitchen?
Someone should do what another manufacturer did with their DACs. People were waxing lyrical about how nothing sounds as good as a classic Marantz multi-bit, so he bought one and measured it, and reverse-engineered the digital filter as well. He now offers it as a filter option on his own models, so you can have the classic sound without having to hunt for a Project D-1 or whatever. And you get high-res and whatever else. Wouldn't be so hard to do with tubes to measure the harmonics. While obviously the supply of 396a, especially the preferred early 50s stock, will continue to decrease, the sound-quality-for-the-dollar should shift to similarly sweet sounding but in greater supply tubes- some of which are still produced or at least have large NOS supplies.
Australia took the 'merican land yacht, cut it down to a more sane size, un-forked the handling, and they became a staple of the country. My neighbour's car was a Statesman Deville, something like the one below, in the same bright green colour. He was a retired bank manager.I'm getting a little nostalgic thinking about the station wagons of my youth. Big, luxurious Ford Country Squire cars. I think the fake wood vinyl on the side made it. Great car.
Wow, I really enjoyed this! An awesome percussion display that really showed off what an Yggy brings to the table. Tracks 1,3,5,6,8,10 just outstanding - so many favorites.https://open.qobuz.com/track/2367658
