But your dentures would come loose on acceleration,.

Very Nice! I tried to buy a 65 with 396 and ac just out of high school in the late 70s.
my local curmudgeon banker thought it was a terrible waste of money and wouldn't loan the $:laughing:.
I would like to own a corvette sometime...

A few years later, I did manage to find a consolation prize , 67 Impala super sport, well optioned with a 427.
Yeah, not my man cave! Area car museum ...
