Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

One of the top classic Canadian bands, and one of their finest collections of music. And they’re damn nice, friendly people, too. “Hasn’t Hit Me Yet” and “Dark Angel” are classics. “Lost Together”, from the album of the same name, is my favourite BR song.
I've appreciated the music recommendations on this thread. As I have mentioned, I'm really just getting back into the music hobby.

And the discussions about which recordings are higher quality.

Many new songs -artists to seek out

Long voltage transmission cables is a stretch and 50k is well above the range of human hearing. Generally speaker cables are multi strand. He even mentioned the cables are six feet long. 😉
50k?!? I mentioned 50Hz for large cables (like 2” diameter). Whatever makes you happy. I am sorry I raised a technical topic. Let’s move on. 😅

Raising a technical topic is fine but it is always good to know if we are referencing the same data. I spent 17 years working with audio and RF cable so I might have some understanding as well as misconceptions related to that area. 🤣🤣🤣

The room I'm sitting in now? 4 different ceiling heights, 10 walls, thankfully one floor :) Haven't finished modeling it yet.
No kidding. The double-height room I mentioned has a mezzanine with an overhanging walkway, a wall that is almost all glass, recessed skylights, and a lot other complexities. The new Space Optimization allows a lot of complexity, which we took advantage of. But there are still some details missing...

Caught a bit of a stomach bug yesterday, but fortunately it seems to be a 24 hr. variety as I am feeling a bit better today, although not yet 100%. I know I posted a recommendation earlier, but thought I'd post another to close the night out.

This is not their typical (sometimes Musak) vibe.

Recent jazz releases, can't be more different but both worthwhile.

Yep - spot on @Paladin79

And I’m a EE (1981 UofAz)…

They are 2 guage
They are multi-stranded (I guess around 50, if you care, you can do the guage deconstruction maths, I don’t)
It is extremely flexible, far more than any commercial “audiophile cable” that has this weight
They weigh approximately 10 pounds a set 4 - it’s a LOT of copper
If there’s any skin effects, I (and no other listener) have never noticed.

Oh, and they were free, sans the spades and my labor.

In my world: Excellent Construction and Capability/Performance divided by near zero cost == end game

Did I say they were UGLY? <grin>

I see nothing wrong with what you are using and I do not like to go into my education since ai am now retired and it means little. 🤪

Mine ended up meaning literally nothing. I only majored in EE because software wasn’t a thing there/then. I programmed my way through college and have been in software ever since. My co-op at Hughes aircraft in 1980 I was the only guy on the project that could actually code. I was like: cool… way less math!

I remember very few details; but the big picture stuff? <grin>

We agree: ain’t no skin effect any mortal can hear on my 6 foot runs of bi-wired 2 guage (net) multi-strand cable. We probably agree that it’ll handle monstrous current too… < double grin >

Another jazz release from last Friday. Quite something, 3 good releases in one day!

Definitely the very best speaker cables i've ever heard of.
