I WISH my wife shared this interest in spirits with me! She doesn't drink at all - not a tea-totaller and she does not disapprove of my imbibing - she just does not like the taste of any alcohol. In fact, it is all just "alcohol" to her. She is a therapist who sees a large number of clients with dependency issues and we often joke about how I make the thing that helps cause that and she is the one trying to help people get away from it. lol
Man, i want to try some of your stuff but i dont see it at any of the stores around here. have looked three times now.

Yeah, pretty sure I was the first to do this on my Raal CA1A October 5th 2022. It never clipped, never got warm. Used a freya+ in passive mode. It was heavenly. Tyrs now on speaker duty.

Here is my post from @GoldenSound patreon chat

Sounds glorious - thinking of doing so YGGY OG- > Freya + —> Tyr —> Susvaras. Can’t find any others who’ve used it with those headphones, some have used 1266s and HE6s. As someone on the Yggdrasil thread told me ‘delicious insanity’

Cloud is a nice idea until you actually need to restore an entire 10TB volume in relatively short order (remote upload speeds are usually the limiting factor, sometimes as little as 1GB/hour). Some services like Backblaze can send you a physical restore drive upon request, but their state SLA for that is something like "several days per TB" to prepare. Of course if you're not under time constraints, it's a great option.
I consider cloud backup in the terabyte class as a backups of last resort. I try to keep 2-3 near-field backups for disaster recover. Cloud backups are for cataclysm recovery.

You mean the manual that says "Switch #3 Preamp Switch. Up turns on the preamp out-puts, down turns them off." Yes I read that. However, it does not address having no headphones plugged in while using the preamp out.
Never said it had the answers, but it should’ve.

That is so sad, I cannot imagine the heartache of losing your Cavvie! Our Bismarck is literally a full-on member of our family at only 3; we pray he lives a long life.

Bismarck sends his LOVE to you at this tough time.

Thank you. Both our guys, Frodo and Brodie, lived to 14. All the best to Bismarck, and thanks for the condolences!

twas I.
Ive been wanting dual monoblocks for years. For headphones it's even more nutty.
I'll be stacking a second Flux Mentor later this summer and doing the same thing with those.
33.5w @ 32ohm is NUTS (two flux mentors).

My wife loves music and my hi-fi hobby. So much so, that my 2022 Christmas present was a pair of Tyrs.
My wife got me an Yggy GS2! Ok, I bought it, but at least was considerate enough to tell her I got it, and not to get me anything else!

I'll ask our marketing manager if she knows of any availability in Arkansas, assuming your Bio locale is correct.

Hmmmm....a merger, then...? Headphone manufacturer possibly? Maybe building a Texas BBQ/microbrewery/winery/Schiitr...?

Do we need to start a betting pool here?
This could run as long the speculation on SYN before it was revealed.
You will need a capable bookie

The guy that does our Fedex Home Deliveries is a pretty nice guy and takes extra care since we occasionally leave snacks and water out for him when we know he's delivering.
Leave some beer*, the service improves dramatically.

* Not Bud Light, and other such "beers"

6SN7? That fat tube sticking out of a 5 inch chassis looks like a Trident launching from a Japanese mini sub! (Yes I had a 6SN7 with adapter into my Vali2 back in the day!)
Like this? :smirk:

First a riser, then an adapter, and then a 6SN7
