+1. Never been a U2 fan. They aren't/weren't bad, but nothing special either, IMHO.

... the work would be trying to convince the missus that the sessions are work .... 🤞🤔😕
Yeah, I'd have to be able to wipe that grin off my face in order to pull that off. :D

How do you think that we weed out the folks that have no inherent sense of humor and common sense?
I originally came to the thread to read Jason's Schiit Happened posts. After I finished, I started reading the recent posts. At the time, the group was discussing fudge from Uranus, Missouri.

That was 2017. I haven't left since...

You thought, "fudge it, these are my peeps!"?

Less noisily I joined head-fi to find out more about the original Bifrost (that's beef-roast to you younguns) and got stuck in the quagmire/maelstrom of humor, knowledge and BBQ. I remember @Jason Stoddard saying multibit would never fit in a Bifrost... (ha!)

Truly, I was hoping to learn more about BBQ

What in the name of Albert Einstein, Kip Thorne, and Andrea Ghez are you going on about⁉️
An overt attack about what Universities have become.

No meritocracy, but an agenda laden woke factory.

I have these thoughts on a regular basis. This isn't the forum to progress this discussion, and I'll try to curtail in the future.

I don't doubt it. I read all the tube posts. Feel like I'm at the steep uphill part of the learning curve...
In addition to sound , the home built one (amp) on the thread a few days back along with everyones pictures of the glowing tubes are works of art
They're especially rad at Halloween time.

Do you get the BBC Music CD of the Month with that Apple News access? The CD is the No.1 reason to get the subscription.
No I don't, and that's a valid incentive to get the real BBC Music subscription. I have Apple News+ primarily to read paywalled newspapers and magazines.

BTW, I've observed (and I'm not the only one) that in reviews, Gramophone and BBC Music Magazine are both biased towards recordings by British musicians. I can understand rooting for home talent and they be sympathetic to British sensibilities of performance, but sometimes I see over the top praise for a British musician that isn't matched by the reaction in reviews from elsewhere.

It would be faster and less painful to just to sit in a tub full of water and drop in a plugged in Sunbeam Radiant T40 electric toaster.

(If ony I could find a way to get paid to listen to my music all and all night day long, I'd never go to work.)
Ask the boss at work. He/she might say: "A-1 idea! Paying you to stay home actually boosts the company's pretax margin!" 😊🤔😒 ...
