As a youngster, I got to fly with a goodly number of Air America pilots in Laos and Thailand. Even at 10, I knew they were mostly CRAZY. Fixed wing stuff included Helio Couriers and Pilatus Porters, and big stuff like C7, C46, C47, C123 and C130s, and UH-1s. Also an oddity thing called a Volpar B18T. Look that one up for fun!
When I was much older than 12 in the 1980's, I got to drive the Wienermobile around a parking lot. Nobody wants to make that up, so you know it's true too.
Well… I guess this was unavoidable.
Who knows, might actually benefit the product. But probably not, since leadership seems to remain in place.
If things get even worse than they already are, it’s just yet another reason to get the ball rolling on a competing product.
Posted elsewhere by me.
As a lifetime Roon Subscriber I'm concerned that in two years we'll see Roon as we know it halted. Lifetime subscriptions honored, but product no longer supported and advanced. Then Harman released Hroon as a subscription only model and the latest developed generation.
Please realize I know nothing, and this is purely conjecture/concern.

They are in denial (a 65 year old tube sounds better than modern class D, ha) or they have never 'heard' the music so they don't know what they don't know. Maybe a 12-step program , AA, Audioholics Apprenticeship.

I have a strange affinity for ugly or odd airplanes but I draw the line at the B18T. It is possible to replace radials with turbines and not kill the looks.
Volpar didn't get that particular memo.
Basler, on the other hand, got the memo, read it and understood the assignment.
If I were to win a good sized lottery I'd love to have a Courier or and a Porter.
