I am still hoping for a tube type phono preamp but I suppose I could get by* with solid state since everything after it would be tubes anyway. I would have to hear it with my system first so I would volunteer to be a beta** tester if a new version is produced.

A short jaunt of 640 miles from Key West to Tallahassee....from Tallahassee to Mobile another 244.

Realistically it's probably 6 hours from my part of the Bay area.

The Tampa HI-FI Show was pretty nice and well attended last February. Lots of free parking across the street from the hotel in the unused part of the mall. Schiit should have a room there.
