Excitedly placed an order for MJ3 and loved reading through all the posts this morning, and had a couple questions for @Jason Stoddard. Speaking of MJ3's temperatures will it be safe to stack on things like yggy, and will we ever get to see pictures of the secret sauce under the heat sink? Can't wait to hear the amp, and thanks for the great FAQs page.

On top of Yggy? Yeah, probably fine in a normal air-conditioned room. If you like it hot, you may need a fan.

There's not a lot below the heatsink, just a ton of output devices. As shown on this prototype. It's a realllllly simple amp.

Well Schiit! I was not expecting Kara. I tried Freya S in my rig a while back and it didn’t work for me. Was a shame because I really liked the look and features and the price was right.

I’ve heard other manufacturers say that you should use an over-sized power transformer even in simple preamps. And now Schiit has caught on and I’m curious. I don’t necessarily need the headphone jack but it’s nice to have and nice to know you put in the effort to make it a good one.

Ugh! Must go back to dreaming about fixing my music room!

I just realized that the heat sinks will make nice char marks on some wieners.

I’ll report back on whether the dogs taste better if grilled while pumping heavy metal or soft jazz through this thing.
