Audio Science Review enters the chat

Tube amps would be a scenario where measurements don't mean a more favorable sound definitively.

$1000 power cord better measure 100x better than a plain ol power cable IMO . Not that I would ever buy one...:deadhorse:

What would be the point of copper over plastic? Surely, plastic would insulate?
Faraday shield. Copper over aluminum doesn't make much sense to me unless you're talking up in the GHz.

I wonder what the operating temp delta is for Mjolnir 3 with black (steel) vs silver (aluminum) tops?

Was planning a day-1 purchase, but the vibrating chokes are giving me pause, especially if it's more-so than Tyr.

Both my Tyr exhibit an audible vibration, which could not be eliminated after extensive T/S'ing and even an RMA trip back to the mothership...

There are just a few things we should not do on this thread.
Using it as an aftersales/customer care route and trying to bully someone into accepting or even take over your views.
The exception of course is when teaching you barbarians how to do a decent BBQ.
For that reason alone, I'm lucky to live in Europe and be an Italian.

Come to Texas for the BBQ, stay for the, uh, searing heat?

Now...Mjolnir 3 is very interesting. Ragnarok is still quite venerable although mostly forgotten which is criminal.

I don't think the Ragnarok is forgotten.
Jason only had that answer for he knows the sales figures.
It was my second piece of Schiit and I cried when my house was robbed and all my good Schiit taken away.
And going for a trip? I'm a very, very poor person. I could never afford a canjam anymore.

Rag 2 has been on and used daily for most of the last 3 years. It does everything well.

I think its downfall, at least on internet chat threads has been its lack of controversy, issues, wow factor, etc.

It sounds great, works great, drives anything, and is quiet as a mouse.

I need nothing more. Want, desire, curiosity, is a different matter.

Variety is nice in all things.
